These Terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with us. By placing an order you confirm you have read and accept them. Please read section 3 (fulfilment), section 4 (delivery) and section 8 (liability) in particular — they describe how this store actually operates.
1. Who we are and eligibility
This store is operated by TotoPets. We sell one product: a waterproof cargo liner for a car boot. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to order. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase information.
2. The product, prices and pricing errors
Prices are shown and charged in euro and may change without notice. Product photography is illustrative: colours and packaging may vary slightly between production runs, screens render colour differently, and measurements are approximate. The liner is supplied in one size, 180 × 103 cm.
We may limit quantities, refuse or cancel any order, and discontinue the product at any time. If a price or product description is published in error, we reserve the right to correct it and to cancel any order placed at the erroneous price, even after the order is confirmed. Where we cancel, we refund you in full and promptly.
3. Third-party fulfilment — how this store works
We do not hold our own inventory. Orders are fulfilled by independent manufacturing and fulfilment partners, and ship from the facility holding the liner. Availability depends on those partners and can change without notice.
We select and vet our partners, and we remain your point of contact and the party responsible to you for the order. We are not, however, responsible for a partner's internal processes beyond delivering what you ordered in the condition described.
4. Delivery times and your right to a refund for delay
Delivery windows stated on this site are given in good faith but are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs inspection, weather, industrial action or peak-season congestion.
That said, we commit to the following, which reflects our obligations under EU consumer law:
- We will ship within the delivery window stated at the point of sale, or within 30 days of receiving your properly completed order if no window was stated.
- If we cannot, we will notify you before that deadline, give you a revised date or tell you we cannot give one, and offer you the choice to consent to the delay or cancel for a full refund.
- If you cancel, or if we cannot give a definite revised date and you do not affirmatively consent, we refund you in full without you having to ask.
5. Customs, duties and import taxes
We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Applicable duties, import VAT and customs handling fees are included in the price you pay, and we act as importer of record or arrange for one. You should not be billed on delivery; if you are, send us the invoice and we will reimburse you.
6. Cancellations, returns and withdrawal
You may cancel free of charge within 24 hours of ordering, before the order reaches our fulfilment partner. After that, our Refund and Return Policy applies and forms part of these Terms.
You have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. We extend this to 30 days voluntarily. Nothing in these Terms limits that right or the legal guarantee of conformity.
7. Product use and safety
The liner is a car accessory. It protects your boot and gives your dog a stable, comfortable surface. It is not a restraint and not a safety device. It does not secure your dog in the vehicle, and it is not tested or certified as occupant protection. For travel safety, use a boot guard or a crash-tested crate alongside it and follow the road traffic rules in your country.
The liner is not a veterinary or medical product, and nothing on this site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition in animals. Consult a licensed veterinarian about your animal's health.
Fit the liner as instructed, check the straps and anchors regularly, and stop using it once it is worn or damaged.
8. Warranties and limitation of liability
Beyond any rights you have under mandatory consumer law, the product is supplied as described, and we disclaim other warranties to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
9. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If something is wrong with your order, contact us first and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it — we will refund, replace or reship. Please do not open a chargeback before contacting us; where a dispute is raised on an order that was delivered as described, or after a refund has already been issued, we will provide the card issuer with tracking, delivery and correspondence records, and we may decline future orders from that account.
10. Prohibited use and refusal of orders
You may not use this site unlawfully, transmit malicious code, scrape or harvest data, or interfere with its security. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including bulk or reseller orders, orders flagged by fraud screening, and orders with mismatched billing and shipping details.
11. Intellectual property
Text, images, logos and layout on this site are our property or used with permission and may not be reproduced commercially without written consent.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms; the version posted here with the date above is the version in force, and the version in force when you ordered governs that order. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of business, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
